Yavuz serves as a FIRST Impact Award Judge – Başkent Regional 2026, Türkiye

We're proud to share that our founder, Yavuz, recently had the honor of serving as a judge at the 2026 Ankara Regional FIRST Robotics Competition, held in Çankaya, Ankara, Türkiye.

The event took place April 10–12, as part of the annual FIRST Robotics Competition season. FIRST (For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology) brings together high school students from around the world to design, build, and program robots, fostering the next generation of engineers, scientists, and leaders.

What makes this role especially meaningful is the FIRST Impact Award, the most prestigious recognition in FRC. It goes beyond robot performance, honoring the team that best embodies FIRST’s mission through community outreach and real-world impact. Only one team per regional wins it, earning a pathway toward the FIRST World Championship in the US. Serving as a judge and playing a direct role in choosing that team reflects BioQXs’ commitment to making real impact itself, and aligns closely with our values as a company.

We congratulate Yavuz on this meaningful contribution and look forward to seeing the continued impact of his work in the community.
